Sihr Al-Khumul ( Lethargy)

A sahir would send a jinn to the targeted person, instructing him to settle in his brain and make him introverted and lonly. The jinn would do this best to carry out the mission, and the symptoms of this shir would appear, according to the strength and weakness of the jinn entrusted with the task.

Treatment of Sihr Al-Khumul ( Lethargy)

Record the following chapters on audiotapes and listen to them two or three times a day for one whole month; Al-Baqarah, Hud, Al-Hijr, As-saffat, Qaf, Ar-Rahman, Al-Mulk, Al-Jinn, Al-zalzala, Al-Humaza, Al-Kafirun, Al-Falaq and An-Nas. the victim may feel uncomfortable listening to these chapters and may come epileptic during such a period and the jinn may speak as a result. The pain may increase for fifteen days, then ease gradually and completely subside by the end of the month.

If the victim feels a constant headache, recite the verses of ruqya over some water and advise him/her to wash himself/herself with it, every three days.

Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam) said, “I did not pass by an angel from the angels on the night journey except that they all said to me: Upon you is cupping (Hijama), O Muhammad.””[Sunan ibn Maajah 2477]

The Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam) said, “Cupping treatment /Hijama is the most helpful procedure for human beings to cure themselves.””[Sahih Bukhari 5357] [Sahih Muslimi 1577]

Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam) also said, “If there is any good in your medical treatments, it is in the blade of the cupper, drinking honey.”.”[Sahih Bukhari 5356] [Sahih Muslimi 2205]

Those who cannot recite full Surah Al-Baqarah, should at least recite these 11 verses from Surah Al-Baqarah as mentioned.

These 11 verses are also included in Manzil, so if you are reciting Manzil daily, you will be automatically reading these.

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

الٓمٓ (١

ذَٲلِكَ ٱلۡڪِتَـٰبُ لَا رَيۡبَ‌ۛ فِيهِ‌ۛ هُدً۬ى لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ (٢

ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ (٣

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبۡلِكَ وَبِٱلۡأَخِرَةِ هُمۡ يُوقِنُونَ (٤

Surah Al-Baqara
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Alif. Lam. Mim. (1) This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who ward off (evil). (2) Who believe in the Unseen, and establish worship, and spend of that We have bestowed upon them; (3) And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter. (4) These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful. (5)

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَىُّ ٱلۡقَيُّومُ‌ۚ لَا تَأۡخُذُهُ ۥ سِنَةٌ۬ وَلَا نَوۡمٌ۬‌ۚ لَّهُ ۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَشۡفَعُ عِندَهُ ۥۤ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِهِۦ‌ۚ يَعۡلَمُ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ‌ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىۡءٍ۬ مِّنۡ عِلۡمِهِۦۤ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ‌ۚ وَسِعَ كُرۡسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ‌ۖ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُ ۥ حِفۡظُهُمَا‌ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِىُّ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ (٢٥٥) لَآ إِكۡرَاهَ فِى ٱلدِّينِ‌ۖ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ ٱلرُّشۡدُ مِنَ ٱلۡغَىِّ‌ۚ فَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ وَيُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱسۡتَمۡسَكَ بِٱلۡعُرۡوَةِ ٱلۡوُثۡقَىٰ لَا ٱنفِصَامَ لَهَا‌ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ (٢٥٦)

ٱللَّهُ وَلِىُّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يُخۡرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى

ٱلنُّورِ‌ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَوۡلِيَآؤُهُمُ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتُ يُخۡرِجُونَهُم مِّنَ ٱلنُّورِ إِلَى ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ‌ۗ أُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ‌ۖ هُمۡ فِيہَا خَـٰلِدُونَ (٢٥٧

Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that intercedeth with Him save by His leave? He knoweth that which is in front of them and that which is behind them, while they encompass nothing of His knowledge save what He will. His throne includeth the heavens and the earth, and He is never weary of preserving them. He is the Sublime, the Tremendous. (255) There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower. (256) Allah is the Protecting Guardian of those who believe. He bringeth them out of darkness into light. As for those who disbelieve, their patrons are false deities. They bring them out of light into darkness. Such are rightful owners of the Fire. They will abide therein. (257)

لِّلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۗ وَإِن تُبۡدُواْ مَا فِىٓ أَنفُسِڪُمۡ أَوۡ تُخۡفُوهُ يُحَاسِبۡكُم بِهِ ٱللَّهُ‌ۖ فَيَغۡفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ‌ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ ڪُلِّ شَىۡءٍ۬ قَدِيرٌ (٢٨٤

ءَامَنَ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡهِ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ‌ۚ كُلٌّ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَـٰٓٮِٕكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيۡنَ أَحَدٍ۬ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦ‌ۚ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَأَطَعۡنَا‌ۖ غُفۡرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ (٢٨٥

لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَا‌ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَيۡہَا مَا ٱكۡتَسَبَتۡ‌ۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوۡ أَخۡطَأۡنَا‌ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَآ إِصۡرً۬ا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهُ ۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِنَا‌ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦ‌ۖ وَٱعۡفُ عَنَّا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَآ‌ۚ أَنتَ مَوۡلَٮٰنَا فَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡڪَـٰفِرِينَ (٢٨٦

Unto Allah (belongeth) whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; and whether ye make known what is in your minds or hide it, Allah will bring you to account for it. He will forgive whom He will and He will punish whom He will. Allah is Able to do all things. (284) The messenger believeth in that which hath been revealed unto him from his Lord and (so do) believers. Each one believeth in Allah and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers – We make no distinction between any of His messengers – and they say: We hear, and we obey. (Grant us) Thy forgiveness, our Lord. Unto Thee is the journeying. (285) Allah tasketh not a soul beyond its scope. For it (is only) that which it hath earned, and against it (only) that which it hath deserved. Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget, or miss the mark! Our Lord! Lay not on us such a burden as thou didst lay on those before us! Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear! Pardon us, absolve us and have mercy on us, Thou, our Protector, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk. (286)

CATEGORIES OF MAGIC

The relation between goodness – badness, evil – good and right – wrong is as similar to day and night: both of them are incomplete and useless with out each other and at the same time, no one can deny their existence. Those creations inhering only goodness, rightness, uprightness, and which are error free are angels. ONE: The sihr of the chaldeans who used to worship the seven plants, believing that these planets controlled the world and where behind the forces of good and evil. these people were the ones to whom the Messenger Ibrahim was sent.

TWO: The sihr of people who have fantasies and hallucinations. Ar-Razi argued hpw fantasy may have an effect on people. For instance, a man may be able to walk on the trunk of tree on the ground surface, but cant do so if the trunk is placed alongside a river of similar place.

The common advice of doctors to a person with a nosebleed not to look at red objects and to a possessed person not to look at bright or revolving objects in simply because, man's soul has been created weak and is submissive to fantasies.

THREE: Seeing the assistance of worldly spirits ( the jinn ) who are two types; believers, and the disbelievers who are domons. Professionals and experts in the field hold that communicating with these worldly is achieved by simple means such as Ruqya using words of disbelief and polytheism, and smoke. This type of magic is known as sihr of Taskhir, which is using the assistance of inn in performing acts of sihr.

FIVE: Marvelous objects such as a geometrically made arwork. For Exmple, a knight riding on a horseback, holding a horn in his hand, appearing to blow every hour. This type, including the construction of a clock mechanism should not be considered as part of magic, because it is based on positive causes, and if man understands science better, he will be able to produce more advanced machines. These things have became known now following the advance of technology which has been the driving force behind the invention of a number of marvellous objects.

SIX: The magician use to specfic medication on food and oinments. Bear in mind that there is no gainsaying the effect of such medication, as the effect of hypnotism is clear.

SEVEN: The sahir claims that he knows the supreme name of God ann that the jinn obey his commands in many things. if the person listener to the sahir weak-minded, and less perceptive, then he would believe that what the sahir may tell him is the truth. Thus, a listener is attached to what he believes is the truth, and so could be easily frightened. Once fear is insilled, his sensory perception is weakened, and the sahir would be capable of doing whatever he wishes.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN MAGICIAN AND DEMON

In most cases, an agreement is set up between a magician and a demon, requiring that the former commit certain pagan rituals, whether secretly or openly, and the latter provide the services he need or send someone to do the job. Usually, the agreement is set up between a magician and one of  the chiefs of the tribe of jinn and demons. The chief instructs one of the tribe's disrespectful demons to work fot the magician, obeying his orders and informing him of past events, causing separatation of a man from his wife, a love spell between two people, making someone incompetent.

There is no evidence to refute these claims, given that we do not deny the illusion and ( other means of make believe ) in magic. However there are further logical issues and which are indicate in Quran,

Surah Al-Bakarah verse no 102: They followed what the Shayatin (devils) gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Sulaiman (Solomon). Sulaiman did not disbelieve, but the Shayatin (devils) disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at  Babylon to the two angels,Harut and Marut, but neither of these two (angels) taught anyone (such things) till they had said, "We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us)." And from these (angels) people learn that by which they cause separation between man and his wife, but they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's Leave. And they learn that which harms them and profits them not. And indeed they knew that the buyers of it (magic) would have no share in the Hereafter. And how bad indeed was that for which they sold their ownselves, if they but knew. 

Surah Al-Kahf verse no 50: And (remember) when We said to the angels; "Prostrate to Adam." So they prostrated except Iblis (Satan). He was one of the jinns; he disobeyed the Command of his Lord. Will you then take him (Iblis) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you? What an evil is the exchange for the Zalimun polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc. 

Surah Al-Anam verse no 07: And even if We had sent down to you, [O Muhammad], a written scripture on a page and they touched it with their hands, the disbelievers would say, "This is not but obvious magic.

Surah Al-Araf verse no 109: Said the eminent among the people of Pharaoh, "Indeed, this is a learned magician

Surah Al-Araf verse no 112, 113: Who will bring you every learned magician."And the magicians came to Pharaoh. They said, "Indeed for us is a reward if we are the predominant."
